What the Cut-Off Mark Means for Prospective Students
A school’s UTME or JAMB cut off mark, is the least score that each Candidates who wants partake in the Post UTME screening. Must score in order to be eligible to participate in the second phase of the admission process, which is the Post UTME Screening.
As a result, candidates that does not meet this minimum cut off mark, are not eligible to register for admission screening exercise.

The JAMB cut-off mark for all undergraduate degree courses at the University of Port Harcourt for the 2024/2025 session has been set at 160. As such, only candidates who scored at least 160 are eligible to apply for any of the degree courses listed below. On the other hand, very competitive courses like Medicine and Surgery, Law or Engineering has cut off marks that’s above this minimum score.
