Requirements PLASU Post UTME Registration 2024/2025

  • The Plateau State University admission screening registration form. Is only made for persons that selected the University as their “First Choice” during their recent Joint Admission and Matriculation Board application.
  • Secondly, eligible persons must have scored not less than 160 in the recently concluded JAMB exam.
  • Further, the requirement above is equally applicable to Direct Entry candidates. However, they should also possess Degrees, a Higher National Diploma (HND), a National Diploma, (with a minimum of Lower Credit), and IJMB (with a minimum of 7 points).
  • Only Candidates who are up to 16 years old, can proceed to apply for this Admission Screening.
  • In addition, only well-behaved and responsible candidates are expected to Apply for the PLASU Admission Screening.

PLASU Post UTME Cut Off Mark for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Plateau State University management, has made it clear, that only those that scored 160 or above. The recent JAMB exam is qualified to fill out the admission screening form. As a result, candidates that scored below 160 (which is the PLASU Post UTME cut off mark) should not apply.

However, candidates who applied for admission into Faculties of Health Sciences, Law and Social Sciences are to note the following differential cut-off points for programmes in those Faculties:

a Faculty of Health Sciences:

  • Department of Nursing Sciences: Minimum Score of 215 points
  • Department of Medical Laboratory Science: Minimum Score of 200 points
  • Department of Public Health: Minimum Score of 180 points

b Faculty of Law:

  • Department of Law: Minimum Score of 200 points.

C Faculty of Social Sciences:

  • Department of Psychology: Minimum Score of 180 points.

How to Apply or Fill the PLASU Admission Screening Registration Form

The screening will be done online, following the procedure outlined below:

1. Visit the University portal: sis.plasu.edu.ng – HERE.

2. Select from the menu option “Application forms” and click “UTME/DE APPLICATION”.

3. Fill in JAMB Registration Number to verify.

4. You are expected to enter a valid/active email address. Enter a good password and confirm the password.

5. A Confirmation Link will be sent to your email address instantly.

6. Click the confirmation Link to login and complete the application process.

7. Click the button “Click to make payment” and an RRR will be generated.

8. Click the button “Proceed To Payment” to choose payment options. 

9. Pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).

10. Upload a Recent Passport (Max file size is 150kb; allowed file types: png, jpg, jpeg).

11. Upload and submit the best Five (5) relevant O-Level subjects (as contained in JAMB brochure requirements for PLASU) and their grades. This should not be from more than two (2) seatings.

12. Registration is complete and the slip is ready for printing.

Note: Candidates offered provisional admission based on wrong information will not be registered and may be liable to prosecution.
